It was such an honored for us that one of our picture got featured on the curated VSCO Grid. We didn’t believe it at first, when we got the notification mail in our inbox some weeks ago. Soo happy! Thanks VSCO!
Our kind of ideal weekend is when you can stroll the streets in the morning, having a picnic in the park with wicker baskets filled with homemade sandwiches, while enjoying each other company at all times. While real life may not always be exactly like this, but we always love the idea to spent our days-off dedicated entirely to enjoy the simplest things in life.
If you’re a bit of a picnic-craze like us, then maybe we passed by each other in this event last Saturday. It’s called A Day In A Park. Hence the name, it’s a day-long picnic-themed event taking place in NuArt Sculpture Park in collaboration with House The House, Agritekture, Open Table and Bengkel Tari Ayu Bulan. We’re lucky enough to be invited for this event. It was a day filled with exciting workshop for the little ones, tasty treats by your favorite stands, followed by a delicious afternoon in a pop-up picnic area that’s been meticulously adorn with lovely settings in the same hue as the dress-code for the event, white. We were pampered by delicious sets of food specially made by team of super-talented chefs from Open Table. Packed with sweet tunes and the traditional dancing performances from local talents as well as international to finish it up. It was a feast for the eyes as well as our happy belly.
More whity-white goodness after the jump!

We’re at the end of 2013 (cue all the “Oh-my-gosh-I-can’t-believe-it’s-been-a-whole-year”) and we’re thinking about how 2014 will be different. We’re not the type to make New Year’s resolutions (mostly because we can never seem to keep them), but we believe that 2014 is gonna be full of new daydreams, new adventures and new curve balls life is likely to throw at us.
It’s been an amazing 365 days and to say it has been crazy is an understatement. We got to meet new people, got inspired by our friends stories, witnessed others joy and happiness, to (finally) have our own workspace, participated on exciting events, learned new skills, got featured on a local newspaper and magazine, made things we always wanted to make and finally, to always enjoy every little things in life and be grateful of everyday’s adventures.
2013 has been so kind to us. It’s been an absolute blast and we hope you’ll continue to jig along with us in 2014. Thank you all for stopping by day in and day out, sending us emails and sharing your appreciations for our blog. We couldn’t and wouldn’t be able to do this without you. We hope all of you have a safe, fun and merry New Year and we look forward to working on our 2nd year of documenting the often mundane, seldom peculiar, and sometimes the extraordinary details of our favorite things, inspirations, projects, and our dreams.
Cheers and Happy New Year!
