About a year ago, we went to KEUKEN‘s very first Open Picnic at Taman Cempaka. The day was surprisingly pleasant. When a casual get together in such a vast park with various different sections where you could find a nice spot to scooted around and parked your picnic rug, shared along a basket of homemade food, served with a glass of fresh lemonade tea is an actual kind of happiness. The rays of sunshine penetrating through the vast leaves from the nearby trees, the smell of grass and the sound of warm conversations along with good tunes gathered us together.
With cooking performance from Chef Downey a.k.a. Arifin Windarman, photography workshop from Taman Fotografi, Diet Kantong Plastik Campaign, Ngabring Biking gathering from Bike.Bdg and everybody else contributed for a leisure day under the cool shade. There is nothing more pleasurable than spend your weekend picnicking with friends and enjoying a nice breezy afternoon in the park.
Take a day off, gather close.

We don’t know where you are this Sunday morning, but we’re sitting by a foggy window pane watching the sun slowly comes up and secretly thanking God, Monday is still tomorrow (or is it tomorrow after? :p)
There are a few things that go with the usual Sunday like this. Cups of mint tea, the woolly embrace of our blankie, and a perfect soundtracks for a day of hibernation in the background. A music for those days when you just want to get the weight of the world off your shoulders is to dance it off or else, a reminder for us to slow down for today. When you just want to gently coax out of bed like the smell of freshly brewed coffee.
So sit back, take another sip of tea, and if you like, have a listen to our new mixtape. Happy (lazy) Sunday!

HOMESESSION001 is an event hosted by Norrm, U&KL (UNKL347′s furniture division), and House The House. It was held last Saturday at a formerly military ammunition storage transformed into UNKL347’s headquarter office, located on Jalan Gudang Selatan 88.
“The main reason of why we try to start Home Session is the feeling of ease, openness, classlessness, and deep-seated concerns to value our surrounding through simple things, like small gathering and music. Home Session is a space that allows us to view aspects from a rather intimate scale, or sometimes might just be a weekend visit to someone’s place, someone’s house, someone’s backyard, with cameras, and few records, that could be bringing us up to some nice conversations and pleasure.”
HOMESESSION001 hosted a furniture exhibition featuring design creations by some of Bandung’s designer. Including U&KL, Artes Indonesia, Goodwood & Carpenter Co, Zanun Nurangga, Metronome, Kandura, Meizan Nataadiningrat, etc it brought together a whole bunch of different approach in furniture designs with some good tunes from Dxxxt, Egga, Rekti from Bhang Records, and Bergas. On the other side, POP-UP KITCHEN by SURPRISE STOVE prepared by Keni Soeriaatmadja (Bin Ukon) and Arifin Windarman & Lukman Gunawan (Open Table). Free foodies for all the first getter! (Bin Ukon’s Smoked Chicken is heavenly, we fell in love at the first bite)
We dragged ourselves there and it was pretty brilliant that it actually cured our headache caused by traffic (weekend traffic that is!) HOMESESSION001 is a combination of three things that we, heck, everybody love; good designs, great foods, and best musics to spent your Saturday, getting inspired by.
