Goldie Oldie Mixtape

Holla! How are you and how’s your 2014 so far? For all of you who have been wondering, yes yes we know it’s been forever since we make a mixtape post and this time we’d like to share some of our favorite songs from all the years back. Because, well, the best oldies songs are practically impossible to dislike, no matter what your age is and what is the best way to start the new year without taking a bit glimpse to the good old days?

This mixtape is dedicated to those who can appreciate the upbeat tunes that will move your feet, harmonies that will lift your spirit and sweet lyrics to remind you of the simple, carefree life, the memories of the past and dancing the night away. If you love those classic feel (some were love and some wasn’t enough lovey-dovey kind of), here is our gift to you for embracing the big two-o-one-four with such a good note and hopefully it can swept you away for a walk down back to the memory lane, whilst daydreaming on a grass fields, and having fun reminiscing with your dear ones. Either way, happy listening!

Morrie & Oslo: 2013, year in review

We’re at the end of 2013 (cue all the “Oh-my-gosh-I-can’t-believe-it’s-been-a-whole-year”) and we’re thinking about how 2014 will be different. We’re not the type to make New Year’s resolutions (mostly because we can never seem to keep them), but we believe that 2014 is gonna be full of new daydreams, new adventures and new curve balls life is likely to throw at us.

It’s been an amazing 365 days and to say it has been crazy is an understatement. We got to meet new people, got inspired by our friends stories, witnessed others joy and happiness, to (finally) have our own workspace, participated on exciting events, learned new skills, got featured on a local newspaper and magazine, made things we always wanted to make and finally, to always enjoy every little things in life and be grateful of everyday’s adventures.

2013 has been so kind to us. It’s been an absolute blast and we hope you’ll continue to jig along with us in 2014. Thank you all for stopping by day in and day out, sending us emails and sharing your appreciations for our blog. We couldn’t and wouldn’t be able to do this without you. We hope all of you have a safe, fun and merry New Year and we look forward to working on our 2nd year of documenting the often mundane, seldom peculiar, and sometimes the extraordinary details of our favorite things, inspirations, projects, and our dreams.

Cheers and Happy New Year!
