Nothing brings people together like warm ambience on the weekend. Even when the weather is getting chillier than a polar bear’s nose, we’re always on the look out for ways to spend our day-off outside, all soak up with the nature and probably with some delicious foods on the plates.

Last Sunday, we took a trip to the upper side of Bandung for The Field Dining. It was a preliminary event to Braga Culinary Night that is going to happen early next year. We spent our Sunday morning amongst the greenest of the fields and peaceful rural scenery for a full course dining experience under the sun.

We wistfully reminiscing about the past, how this year is rocketing past (as it’s wont to do), and we’re officially on our way through the other year, which means the time to start anew. Another ideas, another projects, but still with a goal of same old dreams for Morrie & Oslo.

About months back, we got featured on the local content of one of the national newspaper, Kompas. It was kinda awesome and embarrassing at the same time, to see our face in print. We talked about the past, present and hopefully, the future of Morrie & Oslo for the article. We hoped for something kinda big the first time we ever thought of making Morrie & Oslo and we sincerely wished for it to happen. All fingers crossed! :)

Time flies, doesn’t it? (We secretly wish it didn’t.) It seems like only yesterday we were just sitting around, having hours of seriously random conversations and dreaming up good exciting things to pop into our life.

Well, today is a very special day for us. Morrie & Oslo are blowing out the candle on our first birthday today. Exactly a year ago, we blogged for the very first time. We didn’t know what we were doing, we didn’t know how to blog, or even what to write. But we did it anyway :p

A lot has happen this year. We never expected such exciting things could happen because of our blog. This blog has given us back so much more than we ever put into it. It gave us a reason to learn something new every day. Thank you for all of your support, thank you for all of your kind words, thank you for one amazing year. It’s all have been a wonderful journey and we’re excited to see how’s next year gonna be.

In the meantime, we’re up on our sleeves on something entirely new for Morrie & Oslo. We can’t wait to make it happen :)

Perhaps it’s the most beautiful day for Jo (Yanuar Pratama F.) and Pepy, and just like the long yawn, happiness is surely contagious. We felt all the smile and warmth that morning.
